Here is the agenda for tonights meeting. I believe RISAA has some info on their site. RISAA has also scheduled a public meeting on the license proposal for January 7th.

a) Description of the Marine Recreational Fishing Statistical Survey in RI
b) Economic value of recreational fishing in RI
c) Federal and state funding allocations for RIDFW marine programs
d) RIDFW staff presentation on why a marine recreational fishing license is necessary in RI
e) Discussion of the federal Wallop-Breaux/Dingel-Johnson legislation

3. Disadvantages of establishing a marine recreational license program in RI (If time allows this agenda item to be discussed. Otherwise, it will be a topic for a future meeting.)

4. Items for future discussions
a) How the other states protect recreational license fee's
b) Positive aspects of establishing a marine recreational license program in RI
