My C-Ratt award for "BAD LUCK" is still in my truck. I'm still looking at a pretty steep $/fish price on my Thames bass this fall. I figure I'm at around $4 per fish at this point, maybe at the end of winter, that will be closer to $2 and it won't be so bad.

Besides when it comes to fishing, there really is very little luck involved in the big picture. Yeah, I was in the right place at the right time, but the wealth of experience and my gut instincts put me there. It's called paying your dues, mine just happen to be more expensive than most .

Saltheart, I was using a large Gami Gorilla hook I think. But with a live bait that large, I think I'll fish them just like I used to rig the big bunker. That was a blast and the hook up rate was hard to beat, because of the dual trebles. The added advantage of not letting any fish run, you feel weight you set, I never gut hooked a single fish.

So we still have no firm committements. I'm in, Schoolie and John maybe but I don't know, who else is interested?
