I know the feeling about having people nitpic every little thing apart. Had the same thing happen when I sold my Grady. Guy lifts the engine cover off the outboard and wants to know why the lower cowling had some dirt in it.
I reminded him that it was eight years old but if it meant him buying the boat, I'd have it cleaned out for him.
All it took was a rag to wipe things out with. Damned tire kicker still didn't buy the thing.
