For the past 3 hours I have been trying to replace the little rubber bail bumper on my old green 704 penn. Now it looks simple enough, theres a hole in the housing and you slide the rubber shaft through the hole. Sounds wasy right??? The problem I'm having is that the rubber is wider than the hole
I've tried warm soapy water, I've tried wrapping thin mono around the rubber and then pulling the mono through the hole....
Whats the secret???
