If this book goes through more printings and becomes more popular I would expect that would increase the value of a 1st edition.
RE: Buying the book off my site:
The company that provides me with credit card processing is having a problem with respect to adding new products. Its not a security issue, just a problem on their end with respect to adding to the database.
So...I put a buy link up on the page using my PayPal account. I also lowered the price by 2.00. And seeing as how it is only a book I lowered the price of the shipping to 2.00. So if you want you can buy it, and get it delivered for 14.95. I have them in stock so it is not like you have to wait - like you would if you tried to get it off Amazon right now.
I'll keep the link up there for PayPal after I put up my normal buy link.
