i got a spool for a 750 that was so caked in salt you would think the it was submerged.. the outside of the spool was mint.. the center drag parts were frozen in place... took me a while to pick away at all the salt... then clean out the center cone.. it works well now but i really should get a replacement kit for the innards..

how do you remove caked salt (without the use of sharp tools) is there a spray like a brake cleaner or acetone that will melt the salt out..

I heard somewhere that piping plover is indian for "tastes like chicken" ..
