Making chum
I got out of my freezer some blue back herring from last year and put it through a meat grinder, (filled a 6 gal bucket!)
I put the chum in some old 9er rig tubes, cap them and put them back in the freezer.
When I use them, while still frozen, I drill a ton of holes in the tube, and a hole through the top cap, going through the cap and tube and tie a line through the hole to tie it off or drop it to the bottom , makes a cheap chum bucket !
I'm wondering what or if anyone adds to their chum, as in fish oils, kolsher salt, ect.....
