Does that really screw up the seals? (I am not very knowledgeable on boat motors) I am thinking back to when I first tried out my new gear and some "you-know-what" snagged my line...it was VERY obvious that it was there (unless you are blind) luckily I had my knife handy and was quick to let the line fly,meanwhile praying that my hard earned $300+ wasn't going into the drink!!!
