Pencil poppers rule....don't let anyone tell ya different. As far as retrieve.....it will always vary somewhat. Fast, slow, alot of twitching, a little popping....it is always how they like it. If how you are doing it is not working....change it a little!
I got nine today on pencils.....not big but they were fun!
