It happens - it's fishing. I've been skunked twice this year too (once in late March - expected - and one 2 weeks ago - F. A. C. )
Right now, bigger fish are ken on herring, live, whole, chunked - if you have 'em great, if not, go get some or some herring like lures/plastics and give them a shot...
