I caught close to 40 fish today, nothing over 8 lbs, but it is December 23rd

. I also witnessed a fish over 30 lbs come ashore, along with another one probably 15 lbs, both guys were throwing chunks. It's only over when I have boat trouble or the snow and ice become a problem.
