IRuss, I told you spiral set up properly only improves the performance of a rod, with virtually no downside besides people thinking it looks funny, and that people think it doesn't cast as well. SInce I don't wrap any surf rods, I couldn't say for sure if it casted well or not, but I knew set up properly it would. Thanks for testing for me, lol.
