thanks for the response.
I really am reaching back into my subconcious trying to remember how I would always bring home fish.

It didnt matter when I went out. I always came home with fish.

I have been working on a more detailed idea - all in my warped mind - a sort of boy meets fish, boy leaves fish, boy grows up, man rediscovers childhood and relearns how to fish - story.

This post was the first time I actually wrote any of it.
it needs a lot of work and leaves out a whole lot.
Think of it as a teaser.

Now, in between remeniscing about how I used to catch fish and why I fish... I need to learn, again, HOW to fish.

Meeting Crazy Alberto last month was for me an awakening.

Anyone remember that movie? With RobinWilliams and the people that were walking comatose?

Listening to Alberto talk reminded me of so many things that I used to pay attention to. Things that, to a little boy, mean so much.

Are there a lot of starfish on the pier?
Is the moss growing on the beams?
Are the large eels back yet?
Are there jellyfish?
Any lobsters under the dock?(- maybe I can catch one...)
Which boats are in? which ones are out? is Christopher Andrew here? how about pyewacket? Where is the one that took me out... what was it's name?

What color is the water today?
when did it rain?

So many things to remember.

There is a fine line that seperates a fisherman from a fool standing in water swinging a stick.

will cook for food
...and plugs
