Depending on how much research you want to do, I think there are better and less expensive options.
Rio Karma's are cheaper, have better sound and much better interface with windows machines.
I River also makes some good MP3 players.
Sony just came out with a new one as well.
Check cnet.com under the MP3 player section, it will give you a bunch of reviews and where to buy at the cheapest $$
