notaro, i think most of the harbor is closed to shellfishing..

other spots on the fringes are open to master shelfisherman who

bring them to cleansing stations for decontamination..(plum

island has the last one in mass) you can get a non res lic for

anywhere on the cape.. but your goign to pay the equivalent of

a commercial lic, (probably in the 65-100$range)

if you have a friend on the cape, use their res as yours and

get a local one..

I heard somewhere that piping plover is indian for "tastes like chicken" ..
