Big Game is good leader material. Its much more supple than Ande pink but IMO its not as wear resistant. Its very similar to Ande Green (maybe even more supple than the ande green too) Check it very often for wear. The other thing to note is that Big Game actually breaks near its rated pound test while Ande pink breaks well above its rated strength. If you use heavy BG or Ande , choose your knot carefully. If the leader is anywhere near the diameter of the running line , I like a blood knot. If you use a thin running line and a heavy leader , I like an Albright. With any heavy mono leader material , I think the knot is more important than the exact brand.
