I remember the story from previously about the fisherman who developed it after he had been cleaning a Bluefish and contracted it that way. Another guy was on a fishing vessel and met the same fate because of an open wound.
Its nasty - it starts eating away, hospital started cutting pieces of person off and then your organs shut down.
It is no joke. I guess this is another reason to promote catch & release.
