Of course, the all-time topper in my book still has to be DZ's amazing historic photo taken at the Grave's Point Fishing Club in 1881 in Newport.

The handwritten legend on DZ's photograph reads:

"The above catch of striped bass was made on the 29th Aug. 1881 between 6 and 11 AM. Heavy seas on and rising tide. This is the best day's fishing with rod and reel for striped bass of which I can find any record."
Total Weight 495 lbs ~ Average 49 1/2 lbs
