NIB recently had a 42" go 36 lbs. had 2 lobsters in it's sowbelly. And it had a huge head to go with her big belly, I can't imagine where 14 more pounds would go???
That 31" girth has me wondering if you may have been a bit off. That's a big gut to be 31" on a 42" long fish. But if it indeed was a 50, then congrats.
