im just going to bring up a couple of penns that i use on the beach here...ill find a rod up by you all....as well as some trusted and proven lures....tiger stripped wind cheater as well as the black and orange for night time....1oz rattle trapp chrome and blue...jointed xtra long a - bomber - olive mainly but sometimes chartruese and blue.......if i could only use only one lure the rest of my life it would be that xtralong a jointed bomber olive......
live bait is another long email so ill wait to tell you all about that...
gibbs danny....are those teak....kinda look like a creek chub but with a tappered head and small metal lip....about six inches long with rabbit hair tied into the trailer treble hook....i have a buddy that lives in ri....does alot of striper fishing but i havent been able to talk to him lately....he has given lures to me like i just described and says the striper fisherman up there swear by them...i have one in yellow and another that is green tiger striped with a silver belly....it has the exact coloration as the windcheater i mentioned earlier....he keeps bugging me to use them for snook but i just dont have the heart because they are so beautiful and i dont want it to get broken off....they both sit in my hall of fame/retired lure collection....snook getter
