Saltheart, I agree. The first thing is everyone should be happy you are the champs. However it happened, its yours to enjoy for a whole year.
But, the 3 guys I'd have picked from were Law, Vinitari(sp?) or Milloy.
Law's pick assured they got the lead they needed to play their game. And he obviously did a great job covering 'cause you didn't hear much from Bruce and Holt. The rams 3 and 4 receivers seemed to do more meaning that Law and Smith played huge games.
And Milloy was absolutely crushin' people. He is a big hitter and is underrated as a safety. I think he's one of the best... and he's a gamer. He shows up to play and I think he's not only the leader of the defense, but of the whole team.
And what can you say about your playoff MVP... Vinitari is the best kicker in the league. I'm a Bronco fan and we have Jason Elam who is hyped alot and he's great, he makes big kicks... but Vinitari was so clutch this season. With the game on the line, he's been unbelievable.
Honestly, this Brady craze is a bit out there. Folks need to watch the game, not look at just the score. He did some good things this year, but he was not impressive week to week. And history shows that they will get a book on you. They will take away what he does well and what's left is a guy with limited ability (see Brian Griese). Not saying Brady doesn't have an upside, 'cause he does work hard and does alot of things well... he seems to have the mentality. But I heard all that about the Grieser, he manages the game, he knows where to go with the ball, the play-fakes, etc, etc, but the league will catch up with him and they will figure out what he wants to do. The Grieser STUNK this year and his great attitude and work ethic seemed to evaporate as the wheels came off. Granted they had alot of injuries, but you still have to play. Brady will get stopped next year and we'll see how he reacts when things start to break down.
Even Marino and Elway and Young and Montana for all their talent were stopped. I think Drew is in this category and I think he will land somewhere where they will build him a line, get him some receivers and he's gonna have a rebirth. And it seems like this whole thing put the fire back in him that seemed to be missing over the last couple years while he's had his brains beat in.
