WHats the positive in an RI derby? MV derby is an old tradition, why start a new one here? Its a kill tournamant so that means every googan with a 15+ bass will draggin it in to get weighed, beaches and other areas will begin to charge past the labor day season to make more $.
The B&Ts may profit in the short run but in the end, its only the hardcore surf guys who fish in late OCt adn Nov and if they get sick of the crowds etc, they move on to other spots.
