Ted Williams lost 5 of the primest years of a players career to military service Ron.....can you take a stab at what his numbers would have been like or Red Sox history might have been like had he gotten to play those 5 seasons!
I would take Williams any day over those 4 guys Ron and anyone who wouldn't does not know their baseball! Williams stats are far and away superior to those other players in power, and average and runs batted in and on base percentage!!! The Mick was a great player......but Williams was head and shoulders a better ball player than Mantle!
