Are you asking for a reel suggestion, rod or both? For 1-4oz plugs I use a abu 6500 c3, soon to be pro rocket hopefully with a St.croix ASRC100M its a 10' stick. Pretty sweet combo for the price will throw plugs as light as mambos/bombers or up to 3 1/2 wood. If I had the money though I would probably get a 1204.
