The new Etec 225 I heard the other day has the same db's at idle less at WOT and same at cruising as the Yam 225 4 stroke and it makes it horsepower (225) at a much lower RPM I got a chance to look this motor over and here it run a week ago, I will get a test ride the week of the 20th. To say the least Bombardier has produced a winner only question is longevity of electronics, the blocks are exactly the same as the 3.3 litre Fichts with different electronics, injectors, cowling, lower unit.
