BTW - the Batson1088 is lightweight and throws eels well but there are times fishing it where I wish it had much more backbone. Don't get me wrong it's not bad. But from now on this fall I'm fishing a 1088 Allstar I built that had a lot more nuts to turn a fish... But it's no bomber rod
