Just got the call from the surgeon ...
HE MADE IT !!!!!
He got through the surgery like a champ! Now we have to leave him with the vet for the next 5 days.
The next 2-3 days are the most crucial for him, they have to see if any complications set in, infections and stuff.
You guys are the greatest! Sending your best wishes and prayers mean and meant alot to me and my family and of course to Squirt!
He ate a rock 6 years ago and had surgery for that but that was an easier procedure according to the vet, I know one thing...I will never give him another bone...EVER!
As soon as he comes home (soon I hope) I will post a picture of him saying "THANKS!"
But I may need a little help at that time telling me how to post pics, because I know he'd like to say thanks in a picture of him holding a striper in his mouth for you's.
You guys are AWESOME!!!
Please keep up the good thoughts until he's home with us again.
