have you fished a Habs needlefish?? they ride at a 45° angle and are proven cow killers.. the key is the 45° angle. As you reel in slowly it will suspend. if you stop your retrieve, it will go down, and if you reel in fast it will rise. Now thats all about the Habs, and I havent tried these squidzees yet, but if they ride at 45 then i am psyched, because I will fish them like a haaabs
furthermore, if you were to place a habs in the water , and drop the plug, it would glide backwards because there is no line tension. I would bet that the squid plug would do the same thing. But because its attached to your line, its keeping it from going backwards, and just goes down like a habs does. Does this make sense??
