Chef,

If you have a place that you could put some type of cage in the river/bay where no one would tamper with them that would be the best bet!

But I would think if you have an aerator in the 30 gallon tank you wouldnt have to change the water too often?

I know Clammer keeps his eels alive for a good length of time using an aerator in a plastic bin in his garage......... with good success!
