John, I am having problems with mine too. I emailed Purefishing and here was the response:

"Thank you for contacting us concerning repair of your reel. We are always eager to hear from interested fishermen concerning the quality and performance of our products and value your comments, and suggestions.

It is our desire to provide fishermen with a quality product that they can use with confidence. Because of this we suggest you send your reels into our qualified technicians so they can evaluate your reels. To help us best service your reel, please include a note explaining the problem you are having, why you feel the reel is not working properly and include a physical return address for UPS. "

If there is a charge, you will receive an invoice for your return payment.

P.S. If there are no parts available to your reel, our reel technicians will offer you an accommodation on a new model.
