I blew up a 6'6" light tackle boat rod about a month ago on a decent fish landed the fish
Figured since it was close to the end of the season and I had 2 more boat rods I'd wait til sending it in...and then about 2 weeks later I break the tip guide off another due to corrosion on the weld...send em both back to St Croix with $10 shipping check and the other day I get a brand new rod in by Fedex....only one...give it a few days and nothing else shows up so I call this morning...they just called back and said they screwed up and I will be getting a brand new rod for it
