Chef...two things....1..you can have a rod build in one solid color, which should knock the pice down..use harloy guides and no fancy sic's..if the builder wants the same price for plain as they would for a fancy wrap ,,go else where....and 2. if you find you don't like the rod that you had built....it doesn't mean you'll be struck with it...sell it and try again.
