I'm back-
The weather was just horrible out there, and after talking to some friends on the mainland I couldnt justify staying there and maybe catch a few big fish, when i could go home, and catch a hundred or more fish....
I didnt land anything worth mentioning, but one fish took me for a ride. For all I know it could have been a shark, and when it was done with me I was left feeling used and violated

This fish peeled off more line than any fish i have ever fought in my lifetime.. With my VS250, it took about 3/4 of my spool on 2 slid runs an broke me off on a boulder. All i can say for the guys who are going out there is that there is little to zero bait on the southside and the plugs that I and others has luck with were by far the last plugs that a Bockisland fisherman would use...
I did catch my first albie and that was a gift i will never forget. What an awesome fish that was... It was a big one, weighing around 10-13 lbs and it burned out my penn slammer 360
So I'm back, and happy to be with my family... thats also another big factor why i left early
