The cold hard facts are that it was not thier fault and you did not pay for them therefore morally and ethically you only have one choice and that is to return them to the merchant with a note explaining the mix up and thank them for thier prompt response in sending you the replacements and tell them that you will be sure to be doing more business with them in the future as you should do.

Why even try.........
