Is that one of those old large blue/silver thermos poppers attaced to that rod there?

Seriously,Al at fist glance i thought it was a large plug.

BTW,i had a neighbor who held the record for a #57 1/2 striper on #10 test caught on the Block in the late 1950's. As i remember it he didn't have the $ to enter the Schaefer contest and lost out on $10,000 prize money
