rob-s! on your computer go to "My Computer" look and see if it shows floppy A; and D I do believe If they are not there then they are broken!!! Had to replace both of mine 4weeks ago!! I also had to bypass and use temporary!!! I paid 30 bucks apiece for the disk and works excellent now!!!! It usually on one breaks at a time!!! And even tho you do not use the floppy or the disk to your computer you still need them to run it!!!
