It's good to see Shimano's Customer Service get the that a lot of other companies get, because they definitely deserve it.

We've sold a LOT of Shimano through the years, so of course some have gone back for repairs and/or maintenance.

It's very rare to see a repair charge, and if there is one it's usually around $15. Turn around time is usually 2 to 3 weeks including shipping from the East Coast to the West and back.

If you get a reel that falls under the "Platinum Service" plan you'll get even faster service, under 48 hour turn-around as well as free priority shipping labels.
