I have chopped up a bunch of do it molds in my day My 1 oz jig takes a 7/0 hook my 1.5 takes a 8/0 hook or the owner jig hook with some trimmin.my 2,2.5 an 3 take a 9/0 34185 hook.I have some left but they are hard to find u can do it with brass sinker ties an 9/0 3407's. i don't plan on losin any good fish because of hooks an if i can make it why not make it better.I use a epoxy paint which is easy to do alot at one time of or the powders to mix an make colors.
