Recently I was reading a thread about Saltigas and it was written in a style as if it was a buyers guide. Folks were repsonding in a technical manner and some said they had two. I looked at the price and was thinking, man is that what it's gonna take if a trophy ever tightens my line. I was glad to see in this thread an uproaor about pricing.
I just can't bring myself to shell out the coin even though the VS's are the coolest looking reel on the planet. I'm very happy with my Penn 706's and 4's, back slap and all. Since I'm a plug ho for customs, I like to save my discretionary cash for local spinners (nothing like that first wiff of paint when you open the package - better than wine!) Chris
