I've used it, I find it to be fine to work with, have mad probaly 50 plugs from poplar, had very little tear out issues, I take my time, and keep my tools sharp, finish with sandpaper. makes nice needles... poppers too, never bought any though

, and I do seal it well... soak it.
I understand some don't like it,

and that's fine by me!
