i think your pens are s#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&g up a little bit of createx?
the two different paints don't mix well, instantly gums up, and clogs the tip of the pen.hense the first plug runout.
i think the pen still has ink in it but the tip/wick is now junk.
put a little laquer thinner in latex paint and you'll se what i'm talkin' about
