first thing i'll tell ya is i don't do cars, gas engines and i don't mix. what i will tell you is when it failed the station must have told you what was the reason for the hi nox reading, which it sounds like they did and then it still failed. have someone put it on a scan tool and see if you have anymore codes. at the point where your at just replacing the cc i believe you have exceeded the cost for a waiver, downside is they will only issue you a waiver if you have some blood s#^^^^^&g certified shop charge you an arm and a leg to do the repairs.
