Bart, I have a pair of snowshoes and when we get the snow I usually head out into the woods behind my house and pack down my trails.
Mt. Wachusett is only 20 minutes away and offers some good hiking trails.
Clammer I know we have them in Mass but I had a hard time catching them there in season.
and now that there a little sluggish.
