Yeah, like Jigman said, personal preference. I use the vinyl paints, they work great but I've seen plenty of powder paint work and its pissa to. Depends on how you want to work. I don't have a heat source handy so I put up with the fumes (actually use a respirator)
A friend of my uses powder paint and bakes em on his barbeque. Either way a lot of good work can be done, just a different technique involved. Depends on your own preferences.
