I headed up Rapt Tite's house in Mass. Saturday for a thread art class hosted by Rapt Tite and Billy40.

Many thanks to Mike and Billy for sharing their time and knowledge. It was great meeting everyone, food was great, I liked that chili. Great raffle also, I won a very nice Striped Bass money clip, a custom Striper Sniper plug(Neil makes some sweet plugs), and a RodMaker Magazine apron. I also bought some nice metallic threads, and a much needed thread tool.

Best part though, was the thread art knowledge I gained. Watching Billy close the wrap, very helpful to me. And also Billy showed me how to use Visual Wrap script builder. That was alot easier to use than I thought, going to start playing with that, nice feature. Visual Wrap is one great program!! One other thing I am still trying to learn is thread tension. Mike and Billy use completely different tensions. I think I am going to try a little more than Mike, but a little less than Billy on my next wrap.

Once again, many thanks to Mike and Billy, the knowledge I learned from these gatherings has/will help my wrapping greatly!!!! Can't wait to make a few butt wraps and post the pics. I got some ideas in my head.

Also saw some of Mike's wraps, some really wild wraps, good stuff!!!
