Thumbs up

I have been using devcon for a top coat for years. The 2-ton 30 min/2 hour. Unlike Z-poxy which I also used for years for flytying head finish for saltwater flies, the Devcon doesn't yellow. It provides a solid, hard durable finish. The one thing I liked about z-poxy was that as it sarted to firm up you could pop it in a microwave for 10 seconds and it was just like you just mixed it. Devcon is not as unforgiving as Envirotex when your mix ratios are not quit 50/50. I used E-Tex 10 years ago and couldn't deal with the fear anymore of having a slightly imperfect mix ending up having a plug with a tacky surface. You can by Devcon from some ditributors in larger volume dispensers with "guns" instead of cans or the small tubes you get at Wal-mart. There is a place in New Bedford. You get an almost perfect mix every time.

Why even try.........
