Thanks, Pete - actually, both Mrs. Crafty and I will be there Saturday with a number of newly-remastered angling images of world record catches, some original Denton chromolithographs I've just finished framing and.....

The 'X' Project......which we've been working on for the last six weeks.

It's a documentary DVD a la Ken Burns - or Crafty Burns, as the case may be - of late 19th and early 20th century images of angling pioneers and their trophy fish. In fact, we're currently pursuing a grant for further research on the subject and while it's been a lot of work, we've also had a blast doing it. If you're at the show stop by, say hi and take a look - if this doesn't get you ready for Spring, check yourself for a pulse!

And the good news is...no snow in the forecast - c'mon down!

"There is no royal road to this heavy surf-fishing. With all the appliances for comfort experience can suggest, there is a certain amount of hard work to be done and exposure to be bourne as a part of the price of success." From "Striped Bass," Scribner's Magazine, 1881.
