Before I bought mine I compared it with everything else in its price range and age. The Key Largo's was one of the hulls that came up short on my list. Some of the things I was looking for that the KL doesn't have where closed transom, 30 gal bait well, beefy rails and hull. The KL is also a lighter boat and in the same class as the 1851 seaswirl(SS175 hrs max/ KL150 max)....heavier hull gives you a bit more stability, especialy on that ride back

Another thing that mine has that many cc's in its class doesn't is a higher console/wind sheild, makes a huge difference in low temps or big chop, I stay dryer. I think the KL is better suited for your style of fishing and is more E-fi$hant
