Well said, I agree with you and I forgot he didn't attend the parade. Who knows the real reason, probably was angry, hurt, sad, disappointed, jealous, wanting to just walk away, wondering if he'd get the ire of the "Boo Birds"
IMHO, he earned thunderous applause from the NE fans and it is a shame that he didn't show up to accept what he deserved. I think the full page spread he took out in the Globe (was it the Globe) was his Thank you and Farewell to NE....
