I think he can get that easily. I'd start at $5,500 in the spring and go from there.
I recently sold a 1973 no name runabout with a 1973 motor and a decent trailer for 2,600. I sold it to the first guy that came to see it. I probably could have gotten more, but I was happy with what I got.
Grady's got a name and a following. This assumes the transom and floor are in good condition.
